What is beef tallow?
Beef tallow is one of our key ingredients at Wadak.
Beef tallow is an animal fat obtained by melting down the fat from beef. Once purified and filtered, it becomes a white fat, similar in texture to shea butter.
Suet, for its part, is a fat that contains the most nutrients and is used in cosmetics.
At Wadak,
We first select pure, high-quality suet sourced from small family farms run by Amish and Mennonite communities in Ontario. These farmers, committed to their traditions, treat their animals with respect, in harmony with nature, and according to sustainable farming practices.
Next, it is in our workshop that the magic of transforming tallow takes place: at low temperatures, the fat gently melts, releasing a pure and golden tallow. Precisely filtered, it becomes a noble material, ready to nourish and protect your skin.
